Question Gapping spark plugs?

I just purchased a new set of spark plugs for my car. In the manual it gives the specifications for the gap of the plugs, but how do you gap these type of plugs? Is there a special name for these plugs? Thanks.

spark plugs for the RX-7 do not need gapping, there is no hook thingy like normal piston engine plugs that need gapping.

Instead of gapping, our plugs come in heat ranges. 7's for the leading and 9's for the trailing.

Don't show him Mastacow's busted plugs. He'll think they're supposed to look like that.

I already looked at my plugs and noticed they were quite different, hence my post. I find it peculiar that the gap for the spark plugs would be placed in the factory manual if there is nothing to gap in the first place (1.1-1.7{0.044-0.066}). I think just about every plug comes in heat ranges also, so I know that is not rotary specific. Still, thanks for the comments. And, I'm in Roanoke.

Kyle, because our plugs have no gap adjustment, the only we we differentiate between different plugs, is by heat range. You're plugs should look like the ones above, just without the odd wear. If you're plugs don't look like those above, you have the wrong plugs.

As for the manual, I wouldn't take anything in there as gospel. After all, they do tell you to use straight 10w30 dyno, and to change it at........ how long do they say?
