FYI: Defi gauges DO fit the Tripower gauge pod
I bought this stuff a while back but haven't had time to post about my results. I'm very happy with the way it turned out.
When I first searched for threads on whether the Defi gauges would fit the dual-gauge Tripower gauge pod, I got conflicting information. So I decided to give it a shot. I don't have a need for a 3rd gauge right now so I didn't want to get Flyrx7's 3 gauge pod.
I have been wanting to install the Defi boot and EGT gauges since they illuminate better than the Autometer I currently have. I got the boost gauge from RX7store, but had to get the EGT from another source since the EGT gauge was on national back order at the time.
Either of the gauges easily slid into the driver's side opening, but was a bit snug on the passenger side opening. I decided to enlarge the passenger side opening *very* slightly with a fine toothed woodworking file (nail file will probably work also) to enlarge it by a millimeter or so. This allowed the gauge to slide in with a little less effort but still fit tightly. I filed the opening toward the passenger side since previous threads mentioned that the reason the passenger side gauge didnt fit was because the ring around the gauge made contact with the protrusion for the other pod.
At this point, I slid them both in and it worked quite well. With the pod sitting in your lap, you will see a ~1mm gap between the gauge ring and the pod but it is so minimal that it is negligible in my book. It certainly isn't noticable from either seat nor from the outside.
I ordered the Tripower gauge pod direct from Tripower http://www.tri-powerperformance.com/.../pod-home.html since RX7store was out of stock. Turns out Tripower also had some delivery problems having swithed to a new molder so It took a few weeks anyway, but it finally arrived.
Here are a few pics for you picture hounds.
Here is a very close up shot of the gap. Excuse the crappy camera.

As you can see, you can't notice the gap at all once on the car.

That might have been your post. I was looking for it, but couldn't find it. The pic you had was pretty bad so I was pleasantly surprised at how well this worked out.
Maybe the new molder is making this better thankfully

You are assuming I know what a macro function is

I'm good with computers and software, but I'm an idiot with cameras and hard-wired phones...
Hope those turbos are working well for you

As for the turbos, they are still in USA lol.
I'm assuming you're running the 52mm gauges. Just want to make that clear
. 2 60mm gauges would have NO way to fit in that pod - I'm running 1 60mm and 1 52mm gauge, and I had to hog the crap out of the pod to fit the 60mm gauge.

Yup. 52mm. 60mm is way to big for my needs/tastes
I have the the Defi D gauges and the tripower pod and the bezels will absolutely NOT fit on the setback opening. In fact, I had to slightly file the side of the proud opening to fit the base of the silver trim ring (so the gauge would sit flat on the base of the opening). Actually, the gauges don't look half bad with the silver trim rings but I am considering painting them black.
I know this is off topic but we are talking about gauges. Do you need to buy the System Link if you get the BF gauges? I really don't want those white lights in my cabin.
thanks

That is odd. I think the ones in my pic are the D gauges also and they fit well. Got any pics? When/where did you buy the pod?
Here are a couple of pictures. I've never attempted to post a picture so I hope it works. It would appear that my setback opening is not biased as much to the outside of the pod. If I tried to do so, I think the gauge would not fit tight enough.
