fuel and water temp sensor help

I just got my engine running after being rebuilt and of course there are some issues. I noticed that my water temp on the PFC was staying constant even though the stock gauge was going up. I shut off the motor let it sit and before I restarted it I noticed that the water temp reading on the PFC (which before sat at about 23C) is now at 38C and when I started the motor it quickly shot down to about 23C. Ive heard that the plug for the water and fuel temp sensors are interchangeble and iam wondering if mine have been switched? does anyone know what color wires go to the fuel temp and which ones go to the water temp? If so it would be very helpfull!! Thanks in advance!!

Ball, check the wiring diagram. It has the wire colors listed in there.

He's not referring to the location of the sensors, rather than the location of the plugs off the main wiring harness. They are the same sensor but in two different locations.

Thanks guys for all the help. I was able to trace down the wires and sure enough they were switched. I hooked them up right and the water temp ran great and the fans kicked on as normal.

Thanks guys!!
