Question Fuel system upgrade, install question: Injector Baffles

I am in the process of installing the cj motorsports fuel system. I am replacing the primary and secondary injectors. I have 2 1680cc and 2 1000cc injecotrs. This kit replaces the two stock fuel rails.

My Question is, should I remove the Air Bleed Sockets (injector baffles) before I install the injector bung adapters? Does this fuel setup need the baffles(will the car run properly without them)? If I leave the baffles will the injector bungs be seated properly? Also, I did search and did not find a decisive answer.

The CJ kit was designed to run with out the Injector diffusers.

The height's of the rails are not adjustable. Although, if you use a spacer the same height as the injector diffuser, it can be done.

Our adapters have a O-ring seal at the bottom. This will provide the seal that the OE injector diffuser does, so it should not be necessary with our kit.

Hope that helps,
Brandon

i hate to bring back this old post, but can anyone tell the the exact purpose of the air bleeds? i hear they are designed to help atomize the fuel, but i can't imagine they atomize the fuel any better than the nozzle holes on the injectors already do. are they supposed to also have air blown on them from the lines coming into the manifold?
i ask becasue i broke one of mine, and want to know if i should replace it, or just remove the other (non-broken) one to balance the system out.
Thanks,
Max

If you are talking about the plastic sockets, the '93 service highlights manual says that they are intended to deflect the fuel into the chamber and keep it off the floor of the port (primary) and to aid in atomization (secondary).
