Fuel pump not making a sound?

Hi Guys
So I've just replace all the wire harnesses from auto to manual conversion and now the new fuel pump is not priming? I had spare relays and resistor from running car and no go. I'm thinking I might of not forgot a grou d in the circuit? Any help would be greatly appreciated .
Thanks

Anybody have any ideas? As I mentioned earlier both relays and resistor are good. The only way it will start to prime or make a sound is if I run a wire on diagnostic box from Grd to f/p .
Thanks
