Mysterious connector near ecu harness
So I decide it's finally time to install my new power fc, and it's a straight forward plug and play installation including the cutting of the four wires on US spec cars.
I'm just about to close up the footwell when I notice a random black female spade connector. I used no excessive force to lead me to believe I somehow undid a connection.
Regardless I have gone through the harness sections that have pictures, but I am remain dumbfounded as to this random connector. Also, it's a 94 PEP.
This is the culprit.

This has been covered many times, that's the test connector for the cooling fan recall harness. You ground that connector to test the fan operation.
It is supposed to be unplugged and floating around.
I have some threads on fan control, search on my user name. I normally pull all that crap out.
