Fuel in oil?!

Downed my 1994 Rx7 that was fully rebuilt professionally 8,500 miles ago.
Downed it to do non sequential conv., emissions delete, silicone vacuum job, also intake/intercooler/exhaust upgrades. Another problem I was having was getting excessive fuel in my oil.
My car has been off for about 6 weeks now. I pulled both fuel rails and changed the oil afterwards. Now, 4 days later; I can smell a decent amount of fuel within the oil again.
I'm stumped. I thought it would've been either leaking injectors or running extremely rich. However my injectors were sonic cleaned as part of the rebuild. I was having CEL 17 (o2 sensor).
I'm completely confused now though.
Can anyone shine some light possibly?

Well...my first thought was leaking injectors, I had a similar issue with my engine before I rebuilt it and had all the injectors cleaned. It doesn't hurt to start there again. Are you running a stock ECU or aftermarket?

I thought so too, but I've pulled both fuel rails before I changed the oil and im still getting the fuel smell.
For now I'm using a stock ecu. Will move onto a pfc shortly after im done with everything.

Was another thread really necessary? ---> https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...l-oil-1040943/
I think some other causes for fuel dilution (other than leaking injectors) were discussed anyway.

Sorry, just thought it might be ideal to start from a fresh surface as I've ruled out a lot of the causes in that thread.
Side seal being the only questionable one but it was rebuilt not very long ago with everything being replaced.

I had a Reman motor ported in the past by a sketchy builder in NJ years ago and my motor would lose compression on the first few dyno pulls trying to tune it. After he rebuilt it 3 or 4 times I gave up.
Had a more reputable builder take it apart and he said the irons were out of spec.

I also had a crazy amount of fuel in the oil. No way to know unless you take it apart and have it mic'd.
