Please dont flame on me as this is my first post in the 3rd gen forum and for some reason SEARCH doesnt wanna work for me!
Iv been told that if i put a Rotary Extreme DP And MP with a Greddy TI cb il be hittin fuel cut cause of the mid-pipe. now is there any way besides EMS to get rid of it? i was also told that Knightsports FCD doesnt rly help much.

A midpipe is a serious mod, even though a lot of owners don't treat it that way. It should be the last mod done after the fuel system and ecu is upgraded.

Fuel cut happens when the boost level is over a certain point for the given RPM. So, say as XXXX rpm, the boost raises to XX, then enact fuel cut.
Why most people say midpipe causes you to hit fuel cut is that a free flowing exhaust can often cause boost creep. In this case, the wastegate is already operating at 100% and there is nothing else it can do. There is just too much flow. So, the boost rises uncontrollably.
As you can see, when the boost rises too much, the stock ECU can react with fuel cut if it matches the parameters for the given RPM.
A few things which help keep the car from fuel cut (these really need to work together, but sometimes you can get away having one without the other):
1. Boost controller
2. Some exhaust restriction (hi-flo cat, restriction plates) or a ported wastegate

However, there were some other modifications (smothing inside the UIM, some TB work) he did at the same time so it was hard to pinpoint which change caused the situation.
