Front Mouth Intercooler please Help

I'm thinking about getting a FMIC. I did some research but found none specifically to answer my question.

So, that front brace has to come off completely for a FMIC. ??

How do you take that front brace off like that.?? I see it's welded on? but how do you take it off??? any other suggestion on how to take off the Fron brace.

Just use a housin jack (something like that) and rip it off? to get it off.?

What about the Reinforcement bar. If that front brace is off, then theres no way putting the fiberglass reinforcement bar back on??? correct??

PLease Help....

I don't even know what bar you are talking about. Could you explain where it is please, just for general knowledge. But FWIW Just save yourself the hassle if you can and get either the Greddy or the HKS that don't require that bar off. The bumper reinforcement has to come off, but that is just a few bolts, no big deal. Greddy is the most popular, but I went with the HKS anyway. As far as I know they are both top quality.

Ok
Under your front bumper you will find a big peice of fibreglass bumper, I chucked this cause lets face it, if you crash head on its not gonna make much difference in an FD.
Now the only other front bar I can think of is the main front of the chasis, this cannot be removed unless torch cut so dont even think about going there unless you want to severley compromise your cars integrity .
From here you have 2 choices really, to mount in front of this bar or behind it, depending on the size of your IC.
The only issues with mounting behind the bar is your AC radiator and pwer steering cooling piping, and in front of the bar wether it will fit ,it may require cutting the mouth of your front bumper or even buying an aftermarket one.

there is always the option of top-mount, this is good if you find you crash quite often cause it saves your IC, depending on the crash!
mind you if this is the case then IC is the least of your problems

Ok so you are talking about the front of the chassis. I def. would not cut that ever. Get the Greddy or HKS kit where it mounts in front of that bar. That is crazy to have to cut that out. I have no fitment issues with powersteering cooler, a/c condensor, or radiator (came with brackets).

I was thinking that too, but wasn't gonna say anything cause I knew what he meant. At least I wasn't the only one who noticed.

I believe someone told me that the Blitz FMIC does not require cutting of anything, so maybe you might want to research that. Personally, I'd try to PM or call Jason at the Rx7store - I think he'd know whether or not you have to remove anything to mount those FMICs, or at least the ones he sells.

really the one I want is the Turbo Streetfighter.

Because this guy lives kind of close to me and want to get rid of it. He bought it and never had the time to install it.

But this Tubo street fighter FMIC is in good conditions though
