Mine has been leaking for almost 3 years now, about 3 oz. every time I stop the car, and maybe 1 oz the entire time the car is running. I just don't park in people's driveways, and have a pan underneath it in my garage.

My motor is out of my car for a single conversion but it has a major leak from the front cover. I am going to be fixing that part really soon. I heard its important to keep the e-shaft from moving when the front pulley is off or the needle bearing will fall. This is a major reason why i pulled the motor. I was told the best way to do it is to have the front of the motor facing up so the bearing does not drop.

The main problem is that bearing ar slide down and get pinched when you install the front stack and tighten the e-shaft bolt. Your on the right trackbut putting the motor on an engine stand and tilting it so the front faces up. Another trick I often use is to put a glob of grease or a little silicone to help hold it in place.
