Front Brake Caliper Question

Just bought my first FD and noticed that when the car is not on and I press the brake pedal I can hear the calipers moving in and out very cleary. Also whill driving like when I come to a stop and let off the brake pedal I can hear the calipers realeasing. Kind of like metal just moving around. Is this normal??

Might just be the pins that locate the brake pads are a little corroded. May just need a good cleaning and lubrication.
