FPR solenoid, double throttle etc

Hi all, I will be installing an adaptronic select ecu shortly and currently have the UIM off and I have a few questions which I hope you can help me with.
My car is a jap spec series 8.

1. I will be fitting an aftermarket FPR, what do I do with the FPR solenoid, is it still required? Or can I eliminate the solenoid and simply run the original single vac line to the new FPR?

2. Is there any preference between using a block off plate over the double throttle hole vs tapping it and putting in a bolt?

3. I'd like to replace the check valves in the hoses and solenoid box, is there a decent replacement option available? Would something like this be ok:

Thanks guys, really looking forward to any help!
Mike

1. Yeah you can remove it and run the line straight to the FPR, IIRC that solenoid is there for cold start enrichment and it is not needed with aftermarket ECU.

2. Either is fine.

3. Look for DaleClark's check valve.
