Center console

Hello,

I have a 93' FD, the center console (the plastic that sits over the defrosters button, shift boot ect) was never sitting right so i replaced it with a new one but now the tabs wont "clip" into their bases.

Are there supposed to be metal clips underneath or are the plastic tabs supposed to just push in?

Thank you,

Joseph

Is there a specific part number? Or are they general clips? Could someone post a picture of one and how many I would need

Any Mazda from 1990 to 1996 would have the same metal clips in the interior that slide over the plastic tabs and make them lock in.

I suggest go raid a wrecking yard with some 1990's era Mazdas- MX6, Miata, etc and grab a few handfuls.
