FPD leaking BAD...remove?

I just reinstalled a bunch of fuel lines and injectors and such. When I pressurized my fuel system the FPD was leaking really bad. What can I do to get rid of a FPD all together. Can I just run braided lines or something? Or do I have to get an aftermarket fpr? I already bought a set of 1200cc's so that I didn't but, I really don't want to put a part on that is prone to failing. If I can just go with braided lines what all fitting and such will I need to replace everything?

Good writeup
That is exactly what I did with no problems; didn't even notice it was gone. I ran this way for almost a year. But if you are upgrading and adding more boost, you should get an adjustable FPR.
