great news thanks for the heads up. i was going to go custom before. really there is no reason to pay more than the original price for flyrx7 pods, and the ppl trying to scalp them.. pretty lame. they know it too kinda sad. but thanks for the good news.

While I think it is good to have other products available. I hope the new vendor does respect Fly's "intellectual property".

they should rename it something other than fly. How could someone make such a great product for a couple of years and then get out of it when it's still in demand, he could still be making a killing to this day.

Yea for a free market. Supply and demand man. If you don't want to pay for it, don't buy it.

I would ask permission to replicate this before you do, since I think he has patented rights to this, also just out of respect.

Yeah that's crazy, supply and demand is one thing but this is messed up. I guess I'll be making a din plate for my gauges till someone decides to start making these again.

Honestly, All he has to do is adjust the angles by a little bit and change the material properties by %10 since fly does NOT have a patent on the mounting... since MAZDA made it to begin with. All this pod is ... is a design to adapt to another manufactures design.

So copy away. Just change things enough to show that you did research to improve and old design. I know I would like them angled in a bit more.

oops yeah just design your own center pod. didn't mean to say i support a direct replica. just as long as its high quality and looks oem with the fd interior it will be a hit.

Hey I'm real interested in anything like a Fly.
I'll need RHD model though.
Any idea Uncle if it will be 3 gauge, 60mm and RHD as well as the LHD?
PM me if you need to.
Cheers.
