Fluidyne radiator

I'm getting mine on monday and I was wondering if it is gonna be easy to install it? Will it just fit in the stock location, or will I have to cut something out? My intercooler is in my bumper, my battery is in the rear, and I do not have an ac condensor. So how long should it take?

Mine was a simple drop in with no modifications needed whatsoever....I don't have a FMIC though.

Dave,
Did you have to move the stock radiator when you installed the fmic? Either way, it should simply replace the stock radiator. It took me about 3 hours but I had the ac dryer receiver to deal with and I also had to replace the coolant in the process.

No I didn't have to move the radiator to install the front mount. So hopefully I won't have any problems. I'm just concerned about swapping the fan- I'm really bad w/ wires, and electronics. thanks for the replies.

did yours come with the plug at the bottom of the radiator, or do you have to use the old stock plug?

Hey YoMama, I noticed the red FD in your sig (w/the aftermarket Jspec front end and Racing Hart rims)...is it yours? I'm pretty sure that's the car I saw sitting at RP last weekend. Very nice; I drooled on it extensively

mine came with a built in plug so you won't have to buy one.

it's not *difficult* to install, but you should be used to getting around under the hood... you'll have to remove your airbox and IC, some sub-frame support crap, and a fuse box or two... you'll have to remove some hoses and clips and what not....

Again, it's not incredibly hard, but be used to doing all of that stuff. It should be a 2-4 hour job depending how quick/familiar you are with the engine bay.

tip: when refilling your cooland, remove the coolant hose that goes back to the throttle body - you'll be able to put almost all of your coolant back in without burping the system.

have fun!
