Flooding?

Is it common for the FD to flood on heavy accelerating. I was told today that it is, since mine broke down on me last night.

I've not heard of it. I am only aware that cold start with a shut down before warmed up engine causes flooding. I can't imagine that a car would get flooded when accelerating. Maybe a leaky injector but highly doubt it.

I think it must be some other problem. Were you accelerating from a stop or while cruising?

I hope it's a simple battery or alternator or starter problem. Good luck!
