the RB26DETT swap has been done already into an FD over in japan, some tuner group did it there. It was pretty god damned fast.

I agree, it is a pretty lame excuse to swap the engine because you couldn't tune/understand/maintain the original engine. Going through 6 engines pretty much makes you look like a dumbass.. you obviously were doing something wrong.

The swap is cool, i'm not flaming the swap. Its not my thing, as i said earlier, but i give props to any cleanly well done job. Hopefully you can learn to tune this car so that it goes faster with all those mods...

you must not get out a lot do you?
Stock means it is still the way it came from the factory. Like my motor. With the exception of valve springs my motor is completely stock.

I am at almost EVERY drag event in socal. The only time I saw some FDs were a couple of events ago at cali speedway. All those FD guys came from this forum. I'd say about 15 of them. My gf was in the stands all day watching them. All of the FDs were in 13-14 second range. That's ~2 second differnece with all the Z32s we had that day. At least two of those FDs had big turbos, one of them blew its rotory at the strip, the other ran with hondas .

In another thread I invited you guys to come race at carlsbad, not even ONE reply. I guess I'd be embarassed to show up too if I had a slow car that only looked fast.
