Nice times, respectable even if degrading to FD's.

Bone stock SR20DET with upgraded turbo, & Nitrous Oxide?

A bone stock 13B-REW block with upgraded turbo, Oxide, & supporting fuel is 10's capable...

The way I see it, you are more familiar with that motor/setup then rotaries, so you put it into an FD. Nothing wrong with that. Personally I don't consider it an upgrade.

Nice time though. Would you mind telling what you've done for axles & what RPM you launched at?

I run a Kaaz diff, and ari's axles.... I launched at 6500rpm on the 2 step on this run... Oh and the car makes 376 on the motor and the we added the 50 shot for spool up.. No one is saying that this is superior to the rotary however i have had alot better success with this setup than my 6 13brew's... The reason why the post says for all the flamers is because alot of people on this forum that do not know thier *** from thier elbow were flaming the project when we started it......

Hey, this is bryan. I met you at the track last night.

Your install looks great and is very clean.

I saw that 126mph bottle pass. You trapped 117 off the bottle right?

off the bottle run was 121.5mph. The best 60ft of the night was a 1.6. It is only a 50shot.

Congrats! I thought one of your friends said 117 and another said 121. This made me figure the 121mph pass was maybe hitting the bottle towards the end of the track after I saw the 126mph pass. Either way congrats on the times. 121mph is about right for 376rwhp at 2660lbs without the driver. So are you estimating around 440 on the bottle?

My car should be running soon. Once I get her tuned in we'll all have to hit the track for some fun.

I think its cool that you have the ability to do all that but I'm not getting what this is all about. You can run numbers like that on a Mazda reman with no nitrous at all and with just the twins. And yes with good tuning it will last.

Do you just know that engine real well so just went with what you know? Being in Alabama I can understand that as it took me a long time to learn the rotary.

Dont get me wrong I'm not trashing it, I like custom stuff. I wouldnt do it to my car but we aren't talking about my car.

Nice work
STEPHEN

i am not impressed. boostn7 hit 122 MPH trapspeed on stock engine and stock turbo..... i have ONLY run 12.0 @ 118 mph on pump gas untuned with a broken tranny

i should be going to the track sunday. i have no fear i can top your ET and MPH

its kind of sad when a shop can barely compete with customer vehicles.... lol

Last night he mentioned 2660lbs. For comparison that's pretty close to the weight of my car at 2610lbs so it hasn't picked up anyweight. Actually he claimed to have lost 60lbs which is possible. The sr20det has an aluminum block and head.

Speaking of which... What are the specs on your turbo? I didn't want to flood you with questions while you were getting the car ready for it's next pass.

wow vosko almost 5700 posts and you still haven't even run an 11, i gave you to much credit before i thought your car was at least quick... My bad now i understand why you are drinking all that haterade......

The turbo is a 62-1 with a .58a/r... for all of you with constructive posts i appreciate it... because of where this is posted i understand and expect the criticizm..

SPO it is not about anything other than it is my car and i have a great time doing this conversion... i went through 5 13b's and i do not know anyone around me that will teach me the correct way to put them together and unfortunately i couldn't afford to learn the hardway any more... either way i am glad i did what i did
