Fixing boost..found weird stuff!**Pics

I started a thread a while ago regarding problems with a boost controller (the thread ) Some members told me to check the wastegate and precontrol solenoids to see if the elec. connections were switched. This is what i found.

and

There were no lines connected to either solenoid! I know I need to replace the one that is busted, and i will replace the other one as well. Does anybody know why those lines were capped? I got my car with no history, i.e. information from the previous owner. Still my boost pattern is around 7-6-7. My car is defiantly an odd one.

-thanks

Sounds like someone tried to convert to non-sequential before you bought the car.

Damn, Their goes 150.00 buckos

If you decide to buy them from mazda that dual solenoid is like 150. But you could probably buy one off the forum pretty cheap.

Instead of getting new solenoids you can bypass them and get 2 Manual boost controllers like Damians set up. https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...astegate+pills
