LOL...i'm not asking for it for the bling effect. Rather, I'm trying to see various ways and places people have mounted their extinguisher in the passenger area...

If you have the Bose System, then getting to the extinguisher in the spare tire compartment might take a long time.

I was thinking that the best pace would be between the driver seat and the pedals. It would have to be bolted down, but if you don't need to move the seat up and back, it would certainly be very accessable.

I have always had an extinguisher in every car I have owned... I know the RX can light up a grass fire, but none of my three has ever caught fire. Which is much more than I can say about other cars I have owned

JCW.
OK. He had his extinguiser basically aligned with the bottom of the pass seat. I then said ok. I didn't want to mess around with drilling/mounting, so I got some "industrial" strength velcro, the stuff that is 2 inches wide. I put on about 1 foot of it. It wouldn't stick to the foot matt carpet. It did stick fine to the regular carpet. I then slightly changed the mounting point. Where it is shouldn't be too intrusive. It is holding tight against the carpet. The carpet starts coming away from the body when I remove the extinguisher.
In other words, the velcro is holding that thing on damn tight, and I have no fear about it moving.

Install Kenworth windshield washers upside down?

I like the idea of putting the fire out with snow. If it is a slow fire, you can then drive to the mountains.

or, ... use Gulliver's solution.

PVerdieck, that's not a bad spot at all. I was actually thinkin of right in front of the seat, like where you reach down and pull the lever to move the seat forward or back...

i was thinkin id latch it on to that frame (the part attached to the seat...not the part attached to the ground)
it would be holding onto metal, wouldn't get the way of the passenger's feet, not visibly noticeable, and you can still move the seat foward and back...
