Finished vac. hoses, turbo rebuild, lots of pic's 56K Warning

A months project finaly came to an end.

What I did:

Silicone vac. hoses, and crossover tube couplings (baker precision)
Radiator hoses, (Mazdaformance)
Braided heater hoses, (summit Racing)
Braided gas hoses, (summit racing)
The 2 vac. brake hoses, braided also, (summit racing)
Complete emission crap removal, incuding air pump, EGR etc... (block off plates I made myself)
AST Removal,
Double trottle removal,
New belts, (AC belt dealer, the short belt from local auto store 300K4 couldn't get a 5 rib)
New spark plugs and wires, (mazdaformance)
New termostat and rad cap (mazdaformance)
Complete non-seq. conversion, including wastegate porting, took me 3 freaking hours,
and rebuilt the Turbos (turbo City reb. kit)

Painted stuff:
Painted the pulleys (auto store blue anodized paint)
Painted the UIM, TB elbow, turbo compressors and some parts of motor core with high heat cast alum. paint

I pressure washed the engine bay after I removed everything, before painting and detaling.

Pictures are not such good quality but that's the best my digi cam does and I suck as a photografer too.
Tell me what you guys thing about my work!

These 3 pics of my tork brace are just to see how f**ked up it was before cleaning.

Yes I did rebuild them myself, wasn't realy hard but they gave me hell after I installed them, the thrust bearing that come in Turbo City kit clogged up fast after installation (turbo smoked), the holes on them are smaller than the stock ones so I put back the stock Thrust bearing, it doesn't go bad anyway b/c there is no physical tuch with the shaft anyway.

I'm not a pro on rebuilding them but what I learned is that the thrust bearing (if you get a TurboCity reb kit) does not need to change, and you need to tight the compressor nut pretty good and use tread lock.

Are you running no-seq on stock ecu?
No I have the pettit racing unlimited ECU, my boost set to 14 lbs
You can use the stock ECU with non-seq as long as you don't boost more that 10lbs.

You mean just the turbo rebuild right?
It actualy took me 2 day's, I took my time.

After I finished everything, they smoked like ****'s, drove around for a while and din't stop smoking, so I had to take'em out.
That's when I did it in one day, out from the car - open turbo in my shope and installed the same night, that was from 3pm untill 1am.
1:30 I was on the highway driving and smiling like a little kid when he see's a chocolate, all happy.

I borowed a friends pressure washer and used the orange engine cleaner.
Also I put some high heat clear coat over the plastics after I finished installing them.

Nice work! It looks a ton better! Maybe I missed it but what did you do about the cracks in the turbo manifolds? Did you replace the housings or have them repaired? Again, very nice work. It feels good doesn't it? Aloha, Dave

I was gonna actualy have them professionaly welded but they're not that bad so I left them like that.
It doesn't make much of difference anyway.

Aloha...
