The authentics have some depth to them. The difference is hard to tell, but is noticeable when you view them up close.

^^yes, however if you look REALLLLLLY close, you will notice that the circles are correctly lit instead of having some of them chopped in some areas of the circle..

...depending on the installation though cause i seen some that are flawless..

and someone told me which is true to me also is that the real 99 spec circles are a bit bigger than the converted ones..

Any measurements? When I did mine, I believe that I went with 80mm for the break lights and 75mm for the turn signals.

I went 80mm for brake lights and 75mm for turn signals.. and my circles are flawless also.. no choppy-ness..

and yeah my thread got hijacked lol

oh sorry bro

anyway the tails look good. I actually ended up buying mine (converted) off some dude here, so I didn't have to make my own nor pay someone to convert them. ANd besides now I have an extra sets of lights laying around

They really make the car look better IMO. So I don't blame anyone for wanting the 99 look.
