fine tunnig chipped ECU...

I'm planning on buying a M2 stage 3 ECU. I was wondering if you would have the same problems with the stock ECU when instsalling a apexi S-AFC. I got one laying around that I took of my other car and I was wondering If I could use it for fine tunning the car on top of the chipped ECU.

So you are going to install the M2 ecu AND the S-AFC?

Yes, you can do that. It was done before the PFC was available (yes, people did tune FD's before the PFC was created).

It's not the best way, as the newer programmable ECU's are more functional but it can be done.

why not PFC? because M2 ECU is $400 + S-AFC is free= a lot less than a PFC. Is not that I'm been cheap but I need the ECU right now and I'm trying to get it and I don't really need the PFC at this moment and I already have the s-afc from another car. I'm just wondering and it kinda looks cool too.

I heard that s-afc is not that good for FD's. As it doesn't really help on leaning or richening on our cars that well.

It'll work the same as it would with a stock ecu as a remapped one. It IS the same ECU, but with different fuel maps.
