So you're coming to San Diego? I'm out here. Mission Valley, right by Qualcomm Stadium.

What command?

Let me know when you get out here. I need some more local car friends.

:]

That's cool.

I work at Coronado/North Island right now, but I'm hoping to get back to a ship on 32nd street very soon.

No more ships for this guy. This sailor has sailed for its last time. I'll retire there.

My new mod in my DD. Some one will get a nice supporting seat with 4 point harness. Getting excited. I'm betting this next weekend there will be a new rotorhead added to the family .

As always, great progress and car is looking very nice.

Did you use the carpet shampoo / vacuum that you can rent at any grocery store? Really great results in your photos.

I used a regular one that I have for the house with the detachment fitting. It was really nasty. Looked like some one dumped a gallon of coffee on the floor board.

Well I have to remove them any ways to get the engine bay painted. When I do that then I will see about what route to take. I guess I be raiding my aviation technicians shop for aircraft quality wiring .

congrats man, I need to find someone around here to reupholster my driver's side seat. Same wear pattern on the side of the bolster and it drives me NUTS. Not sure if I want to spend 450 for just the one though.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I really appreciate them.

As far as for the seats, I haven't decided yet. Every day I want something different either the Corbeau FX-1, the JDM Recaros or fixing my OEM seat. I really want the Recaros but $3k+ for a set of used seats is hard to justify and acknowledge. I do have to decided before sevestock this year so it will be soon.

My next move is getting my non-working cluster replaced by aftermarket gauges. I'm going to get some Speedhut gauges to replace all of them but that's after the move. Right now I have a busy 30 days. New born and a drive x-country pulling a car and a 90 lbs German Shepherd. My wife, daughter and baby son will fly out from Orlando.

I gotta check that car out before you leave, I don't see myself getting the oem recaros either for 3k+, I think I'm going to get some Brides exas iii with bride rails. I tried looking for black oem recaros and every time I find one I would either be too late, the seats are slightly damaged or just too damn expensive
