Well my a/c compressor took a bump on me. It sounds like a box of marbles in a coffee can and the pulley kept coming loose. I took the belt off that happens to power the power steering so no power steering. Just took the car for a spin and all I have to say is that I love not having power steering. Don't have the Cadillac steering feel. Even with the 265s up front it isn't that hard to deal with. Now I'm debating if I want to delete the p/s and a/c. I don't drive my car much but going to El Centro Ca. might get too hot during the summer to be driving it without a/c. So now I have those choices to make and if I should do the Marval rack or the Atomic Rex one. I really want to Atomic Rex one but I heard that it can take for ever to receive.

Was playing with the new phone and that's how it came out with a monochromatic settings. On the screen of the phone it didn't look that bad.

^ meh don't concern yourself with that. As long as you have out of state plates you are not governed by CA emission laws. Which means if a cop pops your hood he can't write you a ticket (emissions) as he doesn't have jusrisdiction on the state that the your car is registered in.

Besides unless you are really doing something bad being in active duty military (almost) bank that a cop will be easier on you.

Any rubbing with your wheels/tire combo? I'm looking at purchasing the exact size and offset.

Well is the base that require one for a base sticker. I will see how long I can go with the VA sticker. Technically I should be good since the rules are if you can drive it to that base you are good.

Desmond. You will need the front rolled especially if you want to have it slammed like mine.

none of those things should really be much of a concern

1. 93 vs 91 octane not enough to make a difference even on a single turboed like mine. And now with a.i. readily available the octane at the pump becomes even less of a factor.

2. if your car is relatively stock there's nothing to worry about.

3. The terminator is long gone.

So come on down and enjoy driving your car year round!

ya, um, he has 6 weeks to get it registered in california, or get govey plates. im not 100% positive on military registration in cali, but i know you can be exempt from emissions laws if you are reg'd in cali, but stationed elsewhere.
but, if you have to get it reg'd in cali, and youre not exempt, you have to have it smogged before you can reg it.
just saying

Lloyd

Lol didn't know the terminator was gone..thank god lol

My car is bolt on but eventually it will be single if and when the engine goes.

We did start getting 91 here. I just use 93 because that's what im accustomed to. Lol. I feel better when I run v-power, even though sometimes i get another 93 brand.

I def have to visit cali before I make a decision. I want to be out of jersey within the next 5 years..but im going back to school so it will def be after I finish.

Riding on stockers again.

Front driver side tire started to rub on the fender liner. I guess when I strapped the car to the trailer I over did it and now my suspension on that side dropped about 1/2" on that side and 1/4" on the passenger over the previous drop.

Did some measurements and the tires I currently have (265/35-18) are a bit taller than the OEM tires. I think about 1/4". Still rubs with the stock tires but not as much, only on hard turns and big holes/dips. To keep the tires about the same as OEM I have to switch to a 245/35-18 and 285/30-18 or I can get coil overs and raise the front of the car.

Well to call it safe, I will do both. So I be getting some coil overs (not sure yet what kind) and some Hankook Ventus V12s.

all you had were the eibach springs before right? Wouldn't surprise me if they were pretty old. Still shouldn't happen.
