Thanks to muibubble I got off my butt and cleaned and re-arranged my garage today. Well that had to do with me getting new furniture for the house.
before and after
Still got some work to do but I have an ongoing project. At least got the engine some what back together where I can start the car now so the engine is done, just got to put the intercooler stuff back in but I'm going to change the spark plugs before I do all that. Should I stick to all 9's?

Well there might be a change of plans. Just got orders to transfer back to the west coast this summer. Hopefully I will not need a smog test. If not I might have to sell
Where are your orders for? I'm going to north island in a few months. I ended up taking the fd back to Nashville to sit in my garage until I move. While i was parked at the lynnhaven mall it got keyed, so I was pretty pissed. anyhow I think I may just keep it registered out of state Until I get it all squared away.

I got orders to El Centro. I don't know if the requirements for a base sticker over there are the same as when I was in Point Mugu. In Point Mugu, even if my car was registered out of state, the base still required me to get a smog check. My car will not even be able to pass the visual. I will call tomorrow and find out.
Suck that some *** wipe keyed your car at the mall.

Not at the moment. As soon as I get the car up and running with some new gear coming
and it gets warmer, I will take pictures. There is a chance that I might be changing rims though.

What post?
I didn't have a post (studs) at all. I had to re-fabricate the posts on all my panels. I'm fallowing this thread https://www.rx7club.com/interior-exterior-audio-26/plastic-repair-933799/
Here is how far I'm into it. Just now have to wait till the glue dries so I can trim the studs to the right height.

ahhh, so you use plastic tubess.. i see..... the original thread, the guy used a fuel? hose to put over the base of the stud and filled it with the plastaid to create a "post" but your way seems to work as well, how sturdy does it feel?

Oh they are sturdy. The first stud I needed to remove it because I put it on the wrong place. Well I had to grind it off, because it was braking the panel but even grinding it was a PITA.

Back home from a month out to sea period and already working on the car. Took it easy today and just did a oil and spark plug change. I think I found the issues with my ignition break up...

For the weekend plan is to put the interior back together, change the radiator, front lip, exhaust, rear valance plastic, front cowling cover and fuel filter, rewire the fuel pump and hopefully install a Miata OEM radio.

Don't like having a gauge pod in the A pillar so I was left with all the holes. Went to the fabric store and got me some new vinyl to wrap my a pillar. Work in progress
