Thanks for the compliment.
Finally done sanding the last of the interior panels. Just got done sanding a layer of glue (thanks to th0se carbon fiber stickers), 3 coats of paints, one layer of the OEM rubber coating. I'm so glad that was the last bit. Tomorrow the painting will start and hope fully have the interior put back in by Sunday.

lookin good. I'm going to repaint my interior this spring. It still has the original '93 finish. I really like how you covered up the seam and buttons. Would you mind sharing which paint you used?

Gone is the tacky/ricer carbon fiber sticker along with the glue and the OEM coating and a fresh coat of paint is in. I can see light at the end of the tunnel!!!!

For paint I used Duplicolor sandable black primer and Duplicolor vinyl interior die. To sand all the crap off I use steel wool, found in the auto body section at your local auto parts store. Steel wool is nice because it will sand off the OEM coating very easy but doesn't leave deep scratch marks. The scratch marks an be easy covered up with the primer mentioned above.
The primer works best if you spray it at a distance and use very light coats. This will leave a textured look. If you don't like it, give the prime some good time to dry. Then use 1000 grit sand paper and smooth it out.
The interior vinyl die will have different shades depending how close you spray it to your panel. The closer you spray it the glossier it will be but the further your spray it the more texture you will get.

Well the car is 99% back together, just waiting on the stereo harness so I can put my new radio in. Tomorrow I will put the new lip and exhaust on. Will have a photo shoot Tuesday with the new camera. Very please with the way the interior came out.
