Finally NOT a joke RX-7 on ebay

This one is sharp looking all modified in a classy way.
And by the description you can tell it was all done the right way. Some show and a ton of go...

Looks like a ton of time and money was sunk into it....What do you guys think?

This guy is nutsselling for this price. He is leaving something out. He could trade in at the lotus dealer for more than he is asking

That's just the starting price and it has 9 days left. I'm sure his reserve is much higher and I bet he is expecting it to go higher.

So why is he selling it if the car is so great?

I don't understand this phenomenon with some FD owners.

They max it out and it's like the "game is over."

See even with a Lotus Elise, it's going to be the same $$ game all over again.

Maybe he got bored, needs a new project or already has one.

In any case he IS a good guy.

godzillat78 did the same thing like 2 weeks ago. People need a project...once its done where do you go from there. Personally mine is still in the works but I sure hope I am not one of those people. I'd like to hold onto my car forever if poss.

For some, I guess it's a project.

For others, it's a car to be driven, even after it is done.

I don't doubt he is a nice guy or anything.

that lotus may cost more up front (although probably not much more than he has in his fd), but i doubt he'll have any maintenance issues similar to the fd. it has a toyota drivetrain and should be completely reliable as a dailly driver and from the factory is in the low 4's to 60 and high 12's in the quarter. there's also a supercharger available from trd that was engineered for that motor. i'd sell my fd in a second for one, but i don't want to drop $39k on a new car.

I won't buy it, but I should send him a message and let him know that I'd be happy to fly down there every weekend and wax that FD until he sells it. That thing is sick. Amen.
