Ya, The vehicle does not have an HS-7. I feel bad for the owner as he purchased the vehicle without looking in to what it takes to register it. Now he will have to sell the vehicle to someone who has the money to buy the car outright, as no one will finance a vehicle that is not registerable in the US. I was about two inches from buying the car but like I said it has no HS-7. Even if the car is brought up to DOT and EPA regulations it was still imported without documentation meaning that when you try to register the vehicle you will have to get an HS-7. When you try to get it they will inspect the vehicle and if the inspector is having a bad day, he has full right to impound the vehicle forever without any compensation. A little to much risk for me..
