Final Issue with FD

After completing all that I had set out to do to my FD, ( Click Here ) it runs great! Even better than my daily driver (Probe V-6). But it seems there is still one minor issue that was not resovled. When you first start it and after it warms to N.O.T., it idles about 800 rpm. But once you take off there is the light "woosh" sound and the car develops a miss and the rpm jumps to 1200 - 1500. It will idle there untill you shut the car off and restart it but then it does the same thing. Now, I have discovered by turning on the A/C, the idle returns to normal and the miss stops, but does it again when the A/C cycles off.

Is there someone who can tell me what is wrong? I know it can't be major, cause it runs so good, especially on the open highway or cruising speed.

Check the EL switch located above the ECU . I think the factory repair book tells how to check the electric load switch . The switch can make the car run rich if it is on and no extra load is on . Turn on the AC and that is the extra load . let me know if I am right or not .

Have you adjusted the TPS? You may need to do a complete idle adjustment. There have been a few good threads about this, one posted by damian and the other buy archangelx. The answer is only a search away

But I'm not having the symptoms of an out-of-adjustment TPS.

You said the engine will idle at 1200 to 1500 rpms, right? It won't come back down until you restart the engine or turn on the AC? Sounds like an idle adjustment problem to me; at least it's worth checking.
