Here's the route I went. It's a 2 1/8" 6 point impact socket, part number 5552A242 from
http://www.mcmaster.com
it's around $30, it's 3/4" drive, and it worked like a charm. I used a Porter Cable pt502 impact wrench (rated at 500 ft. lbs. torque), and it came right off. I also tried hangin on it with a 3 foot breaker bar before I bought the impact wrench and couldn't get it to budge. That sucker is on there tight. Good luck.

I didn't have any problems getting the flywheel nut off with my impact gun, but I spent a good two or three hours getting the front pulley bolt off. Now, THAT thing is really on there! You'll need a 3 or 4 foot breaker bar, a friend, and a lot of patience.

Also, its easier to get a flywheel stoper for $25 from Mazdatrix. Put that on, then undo the front bolt, then undo the flywheel bolt.
If you pull the flywheel off you'll need to put it back on the take the front bolt off......well sometimes you can do it if your using a impact but with a breaker bar you want the flywheel on there and to have the flywheel stoper holding it in place.
Also, the socket can be found at sears like everyone mentioned, as for the bolt I have no idea if thats what you really need. I guess Mazda would have it.
