Filter on Vac Hose on Solenoid Rack?

Ok, someone just brought this to my attention...I remember before I did the hose job there was a hose that sat towards the front of the solenoid rack which had a filter on it and it sat like in a little cradle...Does anyone know what I am talking about...looks like it would sit right above the CRV and close to the empty pipe...

Anyway, I remember this being there before the hose job but there is nothing on the big coloured diagram so that's what I followed...have I missed something critical?

thanks

I attached a Word doc which is a picture looking straight back at the front of the solenoid rack (removed from car). You can see that the filter you're talking about is on the end of a hose from the front-most solenoid nipple. Just comes up and into the filter in its holder. Now, if I could figure how to put the picture into the message ...

Hey, thanks...I just right clicked and did a save as and then viewed the word doc form there...anyway, That is coming off the Double Throttle Solenoid and I disabled that so I guess I don't need it then kool, tanks...

You get that FstFD3SPOWER? if you take your DT out you aren't gonna have that little filter off the back of the DT solenoid..

thanks again...this forum rocks it till the wheels come off

By the way, on the 'big coloured diagram' I have, which I must have taken from the web somewhere, the filter is shown next to the green hose from the Double Throttle Solenoid in the little circle which says 'MT,' for Manual Transmission. Otherwise the green hose for an AT goes somewhere else?

The hose from the dtc solenoid that terminates at the filter goes to a second vacuum chamber in automatic cars that does not exist on manuals. Manual transmission cars also have an empty pipe on the rat's nest that is vacuum chamber hooks into in automatics.
