Fender rolling?

I'm just wondering, I got new wheels today, 18x9 and 18x10's +45 offset with 255/35/18 and 275/35/18 tires. It seems the rears and the fronts rub on the fenders so I'm wondering if rolling the fender will fix this? I'm also going to raise the ride height a little but will rolling the fender help this rubbing a lot? I cannot even fit a finger in between the tire and the fender. Also, my front right fender has bent out and is sticking out. Is this an easy fix or does this need to be done by a body shop and everything?

I'm going into the shop tomorrow morning to get my ride height adjusted and everything and hopefully they will be able to fix my fender that is bent out in the front.

As you can see the front is about an inch lower than the rear. I'm hoping that rolling the rear fender and keeping it at that height will fix any rubbing, and I'm hoping that rolling and raising the front to the same height as the rear will fix the front rubbing. Anyone dealt with this before? The only worry is the part of the fender that pushed out if that's an easy fix by the wheel place, saying you can just push it back in.

I'm kinda surprised that your rubbing. How high is it from the ground to the top of the fender lip?

I went by howardcolemans recommendation of 25" and seem to be fine.

In regard to the part that pulled out...you might crack the paint pushing it back in. I would have the body shop do it as you have had a repaint to your car. You don't want to mess up that expensive paint.

I would probably raise the car enough to not rub (maybe 25.5 or more) have the body shop push the pulled out section back in and roll the fenders.

This is what the rears look like with a 25" ride height on my car. My offset is 42 in the back and I have never rubbed (though I have rolled fenders). I also have coilovers with higher spring rates.

I have the Stance coilovers with 12/12 spring rates. I go in tomorrow to AutoRnD so I'm going to trust what they do with the car. I got my Stance coilovers on with the stock wheels and I basically wanted the car slammed not knowing that I was going to get the wheels as soon as I did. So the height was set to basically just be able to turn the wheel, the car is set at the lowest drivable setting as you can see, it's pretty low. I like the height the rear is at now, the front is tucking wheel though so hopefully they roll the rear fenders and keep that height and roll the front and raise the front up to match the same height as the rear and I won't have any problems. I also increased the stiffness on my coilovers by 5 clicks as that's what they suggested too.

When going up the driveway was when it was really really rubbing, it was pretty bad, I could hear the tire/fender just scratching each other.

I just went down to take some pictures of it. Camera phone in the dark = no good pictures but you can make it out.

Those were the front where it got bent out

Just pics of the rear

7racer, what wheels and size/offset are you running? They're nice.

Hard,

I think your car is too low. I also dropped my car down and liked the look but rubbed the fender liner. I have rolled fenders so never caught the lip.

Like I said, I would temporarily raise it before you pull out more of the fender and start to crack that paint. Also get them to roll the fenders.

Did you measure the height?

The front rubbing doesn't surprise me at all. That fender lip pullage is a result of going over a bump or transition with the wheel turned. Almost any lowered FD w/ aftermarket wheels will do that.

I don't see where you're rubbing in the rear, and you shouldn't be. Are you sure? What's the camber set to in the rear?

with that size you shouldn't have a problem- I would just raise it. The other thing you can do is instead of rolling, trim the little section on the inner fender wall an angle cutter. that will give you additional clearance as well. i was running 18x10 +34 O in the back with a 275 tire in the rear

Appointment was changed til 2 today. I asked if they were going to roll the fenders and I think they will just raise the front because I'm tucking lol. I do like the height the back is at though, so hopefully they'll be able to adjust my coilovers to the back height and everything will be fixed.

This sucks, the car is so beautiful but I don't want to drive it until I need to go to the shop to get everything fixed.

My only worry is being able to get that piece of the fender lip that bent out, to be put back in, is this something major?
