Does anyone have an image of this showing the official feed "tag" or what have you?

I just bought a FD Catback Exhaust and the Muffler has a Jasma Tag on it (emissions) but also has an SR on the tag.

So far my best guesses were an SR Motorsports setup or Feed Sonic SR and it looks like the Feed unit but I don't know my exhausts that well.

Nevermind...I need to post pics. I realized the SR is part of the official JASMA emissions tag. Will update with photo tomorrow. =)

Aha! You got that one off Ebay! I was watching that one, but decided I already have enough cat-backs (there are 5 in my possesion right now )

@Dale...bought it local...not off Ebay. I'm 99.9% certain it is a FEED Sonic SR exhaust. The image looks the same as on the FEED site and the measurements are the same. I'd give you a deal.

I found out that you can email Jasma with the number on their plate and they can tell you the manufacturer if not model so I'm waiting for their reply.

@Eiji...from your photo it looks the same. If you have a JASMA tag could you post up the number? I'd like to see if it matches.

Let us know what you hear back from JASMA, if that works that would be WAY cool. I've found a few exhausts with JASMA stamps that are tricky to identify.

There was a cat-back on Ebay recently that they were selling as an "SR Motorsports" exhaust because they saw the SR on the JASMA plate. It went REALLY cheap too, like $75 or something.

The JASMA certifications are confusing, they've changed the code system a few times over the years. In general, though, they look for acceptable ground clearance and noise level. Some exhausts are way loud and sold as "race use only", they're not supposed to be legally driven on the street.

BTW, a buddy of mine got a high-end Greddy exhaust for a 240, came with a sticker saying "RACE USE ONRY". Gotta love it.

Haha...yea gotta love the Engrish! Basically from what I understand in regards to Jasma...at least the exhausts from my research and visiting their site with Google Translator...

There are 3 different JASMA Badges from over the years: http://translate.google.com/translat...ml&sl=ja&tl=en

Plate one is since 2003, Plate two was from 1998 until 2003, and the SR is for Security Standards and apart from that the Engrish doesn't make sense to me.

I've also learned that on the JASMA Plate that the first 3 numbers are a manufacturer ID and here are a couple of them (don't take this as Gospel yet...this is just my current understanding).
