FD3S Spare Wheel Cover

Does anyone have the part number of the FD3S Spare Wheel Cover?
Mine is missing it and would like to complete the car.

Just found out today the battery has 'battery band' which I am missing too. Wonder is that's really necessary.

Thank you all.

the battery band isn't really needed, it just makes pulling the battery easier

Are you talking about the fiberboard cover that sits on top of the spare?

There are 2 versions, Bose and non-Bose. I don't know if you can get them new. They are very light fiberboard but are bulky as far as shipping is concerned.

LRB Speed sells an aluminum cover, I THINK it will work with the spare in place. It's partially designed for people who want to remove the spare but still have a flat hatch floor for cargo.

Mine is without the Bose.

I saw the LRB ones. Would prefer the original Mazda unit if I can get my hands on a unit. Can't find the part number tho.

I had a friend make me one, then I had it wrapped in some sort of material similar to the stock carpet. Looks much better, and I can actually use my hatch for storage...well, somewhat lol. Just have someone make you one. It'll cost you a fraction of what the original one would cost...if you can even find it.

Thanks for this. Looks like this is discontinued. Gonna cost a bomb if I find one too.

Manny_Apex, that would be my last resort.

Yeah that's the thing, the hatch carpet covers it. But I know it's nice to have the original part there .

Problem is people with Bose cars that take out the Bose speakers need that cover as well so they are in demand used.

You can post a WTB on the forum, if you are in Malaysia you probably have different options to find one used I imagine.

Yeah Dale. Will be on the lookout. There's one on eBay asking for a ridiculous amount.
