Copy the factory repair book .The job is simple if you know that it has a pull style clutch not a push style .Now you know so get to it .Good skill to you .

Unhook all the obvious hoses first, get a proper tool for doing hose clamps.
Get 2 friends and everytime you are stuck on something have them look usually a 2nd or 3rd person will see something you dont. Mark everything.
Put all bolts in zip lock bags, mark them w/ marker (do not use stickers) and tie them to the part they belong to.

The OP was last on the forum shortly after starting this thread.....5 yrs ago. That's usually not a good sign.

I had both ra and mazda trix dvds 4 the rebuild, preffered the mazda trix on the walk thru, hard not 2 fall asleep watching it in bed late at night though, just wanted to add that as im getting some tips on pulling the motor again as last time I stripped the whole lot down to the block itself to get it out, now I just wanna take as little as I can off and release the clutch and pull it!! Only removed it in september to do rebuild but saw some bad gaskets on the primary and secondary turbos, got a set of graphites for 40 bucks from pineapple and I started to strip the turbos with engine in! Realised that after 6 hours and still not off that this is gonna be easier 2 just pull the motor.

Have fun with those graphite gaskets. Used them once, lasted less than 1000 miles. Pulling the turbos with the engine in the car isn't fun when it's necessary. Save yourself the trouble and stick with OEM.

Ah *****, ive already bought them! Was that casual street driving or on the track? Oem gaskets are like 150 quid to buy here here in the uk, way to expensive and to buy from the us is just as pricey because we gotta pay tax duty on top when shipped over! Cheers!

Just buy some good used ones if need be.

They don't usually go bad.
