brake/clutch pump

Hi Im new to the forum
I'm about to buy an fd rx7 engine rebuilt but need paint and some interior things
the abs module is bad so I'll have to delete for now but the seller tells me he cant start the engine the nromal way because of that module problem and becuase the brakes and the clutch share the same pump, is that true? and if so that module problem should affect the fact that the engine can be started normally?
the engine starts if the car is pulled, thats what he told me .. I told him I would not buy the car if I can't see the engine starts

could you please help me I don't want to buy the car and find out the transmition is bad or something like that

Please help me

i think your seller is full of ****, yes the brake and clutch share the same fluid reservoir but a faulty abs module shouldnt stop the car from starting normally.

Thanx for the reply
He tell me the abs module is leaking and because of that the lines doesnt have enough presure to activate the brakes and the clutch and thats why it can start normally
Could this be right? Without the clutch working it cant start the engine in the nromal fashion?
Thanx again
