FD shuts off...

When my friend has his air conditioner going and he stops, like at a stop sign or anything, then his whole car will shut off. Anyone know why this happens?

If the car is a manual, check/test the clutch switch.

yea it is manual...and ill tell him to do that...but worse case senario what could it be?
