well got the bright idea to swap out the clutch yesterday since it's been slipping, found a stock clutch in there.... go figure.
also there were numerous oil leaks (new motor too), found out pretty much every one of the oil pan bolts were stripped and held in by rtv (gotta love smokin joe's)
9 hours later car was left still sitting on jack stands in my friends garage, found so much half assed **** in there I was extremely pissed (thankfully the last owner paid for the work, but still). missing trans to engine bolts, loose center nut, loose pressure plate bolts, oil leaks, missing pan bolts, sensors disconnected, bolts broken off and not taken back out. **** if I had paid the amount of money my friend did for that work, someone would be in bad shape right now.

glad to see you bringing her back, that sucks about finding shitty work, I'm experiencing that with my car too. Hope to see regular updates.

never made it out, and considering the "upgraded clutch" turned out to be a stocker, it's a good thing I didn't 16psi on c16 w/meth probably would have destroyed it completely on the first launch. I knew something was up though before the winter when I went to do some test launches on the street and the clutch didn't even attempt to grab

Thanks, still trying to scrape some cash together to paint it, but wanted everything else done first since paint don't make the car faster lol.

Gotta ask - bad was it to pull that rear fender? My car has damage in the left rear, same area, just a lot less severe.

it was a bitch and a half. if it didn't have that crease it wouldn't have been too bad though. Grinded it down, hit it with a weld on stud gun and a slide hammer. Took about a week to get it done right.

just pulled and hammered it out, only thing replaced was that fender, and front and rear bumpers
it still need a little tweaking though as the passenger side shock tower is in a hair, need to have my friend throw in on the frame machine to pull it back since we couldn't get any leverage on it without messing something else up.
