Could we rebuild it to take turbo or no?

No. With enough time and money you could do anything, but it's a 6 port engine a differs greatly from the REW.

I think the only part in common is the eccentric shaft - EVERYTHING else is different.

If you get it for free or cheap, grab it. If nothing else, you can take it apart and clean up the rotors and rotor housings for shelf displays. Not to mention it's really neat seeing the inside of a rotary in person and learning how to tear a motor down - good learning experience.

if im not mistaken, you can use the rotor housings with some minor modification .( may be rotor housings for T2s)
