FD newb ? about street port

I just recently bought a FD with a rebuilt motor with 3mm seals and a street port (not sure exactly how big the port is but I'm assuming it's something mild). The car is basically stock with the exception of a greddy front mount, cat back exhaust, and intake, not sure if it has a DP or mid pipe (I didn't get the car from the shipping company yet) Any way my question is what type of mods do I need to support the street port as a daily driver. I am not looking to make big power I just want a reliable car to drive every day. I would if at all possible to do this on the stock ecu or with a pre programed ecu for a street port. There are not to many guys around here that tune rotary motors.

Does it have an aftermarket ECU, thats alot of mods for a stock ECU. I would just give it a tune and get an Apexi boost controller and drive it as it is.

You are as bad as I was...bought your first FD before you knew anything about them.

its probably not a stock ECU. and most likely the precat has been replaced with a downpipe, thats usually the first mod done. i'd add a boost controller and a boost gauge, and your car will be plenty fast. Just keep it under 15psi so you don't wear out your turbos and make sure the ECU is tuned for it. If you have a midpipe, you will obviously not be able to register your car, and you will have boost creep. Definetly look into a highflow cat if you don't have one already. It will make a world of difference over the stock cat.
