Ok, I'm sure you FD owners get tired of newbie's, and wanabe FD3S owners like myself asking you questions, but I am curious about the reign of the RX-7. I'm at least a year away from being able to buy an RX-7, and although I enjoy browsing the forum and reading up all I can on these marvelous cars, I'm curious if the aftermarket industry might die out anytime soon for these cars?

Since they were only bought to american shores in 93-95, are all parts now imported from japan?

I guess my ultimate question is do you guys think the aftermarket industry that supports these cars, even importing parts from japan is going to stop marketing parts for these cars anytime soon?

In my opinion, even though the cars havent been sold new in years, they are still out there and in demand.

I dont think youll have a problem getting parts in a year from now or even a few more after that. I plan on getting things for my FD in about a year, so lets hope that there are stores still around.
