FD hatch closing issue
FD hatch closing issue
Ok stupid question, but everyone I take for a drive asks me the same question on my rear-spoiler-less FD when I pop the hatch:
Since it's a bit difficult to close the hatch(especially with windows up), how do you keep from smudging the finish with your hand?
Anyone use a towel, hanky, their shirt, etc?
You R1/R2 guys have it a bit easier.

I pull my car-cover out from the hatch, tyvm.
Guess my door weatherstrip seals are tighter than your rattle-trap, 'Tini, shaken and not stirred..

I always close the hatch and hood with the end of my shirt between my fingers and the paint. This is kinda off-topic, but try opening your hatch a little bit and tying it open a tiny bit with some rope and then go drive for a while. I had to have my hatch tied down with a rope a while back and I couldn't believe my car after having it slightly open and driving at the same time. I could actually hear my exhaust! I was like, "Whoa! WTF is that! Oh, it's my car!!"
I wish I could hear my exhaust like that all the time! Makes me wanna go and turn my FD into a convertible!!
j/k
