so does my 94 touring. At first I thought my driver side window button was just stuck, but I found out later that it was 1 touch. It's not like the 1 touch that are found in cars these days though.

ex, cars like audi and MBZ the button retracts as soon as you push it down

but for the FD, i guess it just stays depressed (as if it were stuck) until the windows comes down all the way and then it releases itself automatically.

or maybe I'm just a mental retard and my power window button is really stuck

Usually I roll down the driver and passenger side windows at the same time so even if my car had the one touch I'd end up holding the other button anyways. I wish some cars would have one touch for all windows on the driver's panel.

P.S. My '93 touring doesn't have it so looks like it is 94+ as you expected.

93 R1 does. One touch down. Hold all the way back up.

I want another one touch switch for the pass side. Then you won't have to hold the other one either.

My 93 R1 has no one touch. I found out the 94 has. Can I just get the switch to do one touch conversion or do I need a module??

I've recently notice about the one touch window roll down.. Very nice.. My 93 doesn't have it.. and I think all you need is the switch.. But I'm just going to add the module for my alarm.. That would give me one touch roll down..

If anyone has an aftermarket security system made by any of the DEI companies (see www.directed.com for a list), you can purchase a module that will give you remote control of your windows through your transmitter, automatically roll them up when you lock your car, and I believe it also converts them to one-touch. The piece retails for around $150.

Yea most of the Power window modules for alarm systems include the one touch up and down. They make one that will control both windows up and down, and ones for single windows. So you could also add one touch to your sunroof if you wanted. They arnt that expensive and you dont need an alarm to use the one touch feature. Ive seen the two window up and down for around $70. I used to have one on my old car and loved it. Tap once and the window goes all the way down or up and if you want to stop it at any point just tap the button agian when its at the level you want. I dont know about going DEI. I dont really like their products that much. Their customer service dose suck too. Good luck getting the time of day unless your a authorized dealer, and be prepared to be on hold for about 2 hours. The module i used to have i believe what made by avitar. Not sure though it was a while ago.

I saved my module from my '94 and converted my '93 to one touch, it's as simple as swapping modules...

You can't use a drivers side unit for the passenger window?

The module i think he is talking about is the whole switch. From what i hear about the the switch is that its mechanical up and down not computerized like cars now. So adding another module would be bacicaly adding another driver and passenger window switch. Im pretty sure you dont want four switches in your door, with two that do nothing.

Yeah, I haven't really looked at it close. But I would have thought that the panel on the drivers side with the switches in them can be removed. The switches would then be able to be pulled out one by one. Then replace the switch that controls the passenger side with the replacement drivers side one. Am I complete off my rocker?
