FD 3rd Gen won't start

car was running fine, now it won't start.
I turn the key to start and all the dash lights come on but it won't turn over and there is no noise or starter clicking. The battery light is on but I know the battery is good, and figured that it would at least make a noise. head light pop up and are bright. I looked at all the fuses and they are good. It is almost as if the car doesn't know the clutch is dpressed. I know there is a switch there but mechanically looks fine. I heard it might be something realated to relays but I wasn't sure which one to look for and where to go for a replacement. thanks, dan

your starter relay may have gone bad . or your ignition switch , or your starter . lift the car , securely and start checking to see if you are getting power to the starter solenoid . when you try to crank .

Clutch switch or starter.

You can bypass the clutch switch by jumping it.

Or maybe use jumper cables from battery to starter to see if it powers up. Make sure car is in neutral w brake on.

Check your relay and wiggle your (-) battery cable.

With no click I'm guess clutch switch plastic piece that hits plunger broke and fell out which is common. You can install a bolt and nut and it will never happen again.

I did find a little black circle plastic ring in the floor. Ill have to get a better look at the switch but maybe that's the problem.

Its fixed now, i'm pretty sure it was the neg battery connector. It looks warped and even tightened down all the way it still looks loose. Here is that black circle I found on the floor by the clutch. Any idea what it is? thanks, dan
