while I agree that the new DBS, Rapide, and alfa 8c cometizione are grat looking cars, they have yet to withstand the test of time.
Glad I'm not the only fan of the alfa 159 though, saw it when I was in Italy a few years ago and fell in love with styling.

When you think about "beautiful car designs", remember that beautiful cars and "hot" cars are not always the same thing. Here is a list that includes only cars that are truly beautiful, lasting car designs.
Personally, I think the FD should be included on this list. I think its that good. I think when people start making lists that include a lot of "questionable" cars, it dilutes the really great designs and makes it easier to lobby for other cars' inclusion in the list. I think the third generation Rx7 belongs in very this lofty company.

Never been a fan of the 612s gordon, saw one while I was in Italy parked right outside my hotel and while it's a good looking car, the front end looks too awkward to be placed among stylistic powerhouses. Of Ferrari's recent designs, I think the 360 and the 430 are the only ones that can truly be considered above the rest in my opinion, and the 430 is stretching it.

Interesting that the 996 or 997 never makes any list. Although generally good looking cars, they're essentially invisible because they're so ubiquitous, and they've looked basically the same for so long. At least Porsche is seeking to change things up a bit with the 918 Spyder. The 911 "VW on steroids" bug eye look is beyond tired.
The current Motor Trend ZR1 vs. 997tt comparison states that even the VETTE gets alot more attention.....
