FD is the 22nd most beautiful car EVER per MSN!
Only beaten by classics... nice
AND.. The ONLY Japanese car on the list.....
Look through the gallery and you'll see that they are mostly done chronologically. The FD wasn't "ranked" 22nd, but it was the 22nd car in the list.
She'll always be #1 in my heart ;)
nice :D

To be honest, I'm surprised the Toyota GT2000 isn't on that list.
Thread title is definitely incorrect. This is a chronological selection of the best 25.
Ok thread title is off. Geez... you'd think you guys would just be happy to see we made the list!

It looks like the list is a mixed group. Maybe they were picked by some "desirability" and looks combination. They miss so many much more beautiful cars. No Ferrari Daytona? No Dino? The Figoni et Falaschi Talbot Lago 150 is much more beautidul than the T35 Bugatti, which is made better, but not that hot to look at. Anyway, its good we are on some list.

This is awesome!!

BMW 507, Maserati Ghibli? Lola T70? Ferrari Daytona?
Appreciate the love, but I don't think the list maker knows enough to be publishing it. |
The last slide is definitely the most intriguing
I wouldn't necessarily say we're 22nd on the list since there is no number system or countdown being used the Title of the article is "25 most beautiful cars" which kind of implies just good looking cars. I also agree with hondasr4kids where is the toyota 2000gt
you mean people other than us rotards find the 7 beautiful?

+1, and there are few other japanese cars that should've been in that list, like NSX, MR2 etc.
NSX or MR2? Sorry, the NSX looked dated 10 years ago, and the MR2 was never world class, even the day it was made. They are good looking cars, but not in the "all-time" category. |
nice find. thanks for sharing!
I sent that to my brother. His reply, "Too bad for you if they ever make a top 5000 most reliable cards, yours still wouldn't make the list." :(

Exactly. Organic, pure designs tend to last through the trends.... the FD could have been made today (with minor detail changes), or in the 1960's. It absolutely outlasted every one of it's contemporaries... even the stuff being made by Ferrari and Lotus at the time.... maybe except for the 911, which was largely the same design through the 993 since the late 60's. |
