Not to be a butt, but did you even try to search? There are many threads on the FC1000. Most people prefer the HKS unit. The FC1000 isn't as powerful as the older Jacob's units so it will work with the stock coils without burning them up. There is not harness like the HKS, so you need to manually wire it in (not that big of a deal).

Your not a butt dude, actually I cant do a search im on a navy ship overseas and we use internet with Satelites and it succckkkksssss.... theres alot of weird things that happen with it sometimes you can click a link sometimes you cant, however the search link, and the login link for Geico, Wachovia, and hotmail never work. Neither do any of the other tabs at the top of the page. I have to follow hyperlinks to get pms. It sucks. Sometimes only a part of a page will load as well.... Any ways enough of that, so okay the jacobs ignitions system not as good as advertised. Thanks

Jacobs units work well. I had the FC1500 and it cleaned up my issues.

I wouldn't say that per say. Everyone has their needs. FWIW, I will be running the FC1000.

i run one on my FC...seems to work well, just make sure your spark plug wires aren't right up next to it.

Hks unit works well also. The plug and play harness is a bonus as you can "pull" the unit out of the ignition loop in 10 seconds. G

OP,

Next time, just state that you are on a ship and are having trouble searching. Once people know the situation, they are much more inclined to help.

I run the HKS twin power and love it.
