FC Manifold
I was reading this post:
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...fc%2A+manifold
I was wondering if the FC Manifold will fit a FD. I have a friend that is trying to make his own single kit (because his twins are gone and $ is an issue at the time) and is trying to find out.

I think it would cost more money to fabricate / make a t2 setup run efficientley on an FD than it would be to find some replacement twins.
Even if he had a stand alone unit that was programmable, it sounds like it would be costly.

If money is an issue, scare up $150-200 and get a good used set of stock twins. Nothing about fabbing a single setup is cheap if you are going to do it right.
The stock FC manifold/turbo may or may not fit, but that turbo pegged out will make about the same power the FD twins make barely trying. As far as an FC single turbo, if it fits an FC it may or may not fit an FD - the frame rail is a bit closer on the FD and the lower intake manifold is shaped differently. The only way to know for sure is to try it.
